About
Now
Applied AI engineer and founder based in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Co-founder of Veridi, founder of NetterTech, and frontend engineering lead at BI Worldwide. Twenty years of full-stack, design-systems, and accessibility depth across nonprofits, arts venues, agencies, and enterprise SaaS. See what I’m working on this month.
Timeline
- Veridi, co-founder and principal engineer (2026-present). Agentic AI fact-checking methodology. Seven-agent pipeline on FastAPI and the Anthropic SDK, a public 97-claim empirical validation report, and a 1,582-line product specification including Brier calibration.
- NetterTech, founder and principal engineer (2026-present). Commercial WordPress plugin suite gated by over 5,500 automated tests in the free core, over 10,000 across the suite, mutation-tested with Infection.
- BI Worldwide, frontend engineering lead (2023-present). Employee-recognition platform in functional React and TypeScript. Ported class components, led frontend on a PWA wrapper that lets Fortune 500 field agents take key actions with spotty connectivity and sync asynchronously, and built gamification and presentation layers for incentive products. Currently in BIW’s internal AI engineering pilot. Co-chaired an Allyship employee resource group.
- ButcherBox (via 4wrd Consulting), consulting senior frontend engineer (2023). React, TypeScript, and React Aria accessible (WCAG AA to AAA) component library buildout; made React Aria components typesafe for large-team use.
- Anaplan Design System, frontend lead (2019-2022). Sole continuous contributor for 3.5 years, from SCSS variables and manually included components to a composable React component library and complete design-token layer, adopted across SaaS and web properties.
- Nerdery, accessibility-first software engineer (2015-2019). WCAG AAA enhancements on high-profile client projects. React and vanilla-JS UI architecture. Forays into Vue, Angular, and web components. Managed client hosting on WPEngine, BlueHost, AWS, and GCP.
- Clockwork Active Media, frontend developer (2014-2015). Accessible interfaces and theming for Fortune 500, nonprofit, and government clients on Drupal and a proprietary CMS. Led internal front-end standards documentation.
- Windmill Design, frontend and full-stack developer (2014). WordPress themes and plugins, accessibility, broad device support.
- The Nerdery (first stint), frontend developer (2011-2014). Responsive, accessible frontends across mobile, desktop, and niche device targets. Led agile teams. Served as embedded specialist for several client companies.
- National Marrow Donor Program (Be The Match), web programmer (2004-2011). HIPAA- and ADA-compliant internal and public-facing systems for a nonprofit healthcare organization. Built a PGP-secured whistleblower system enabling anonymous misconduct reporting.
Since 2009, self-employment under Nettercap Productions has run alongside other work: accessible WordPress, OWASP-grounded audits, and event and ticketing work for arts, education, and cultural clients including Celtic Junction Arts Center, Center for Irish Music, and The Hope Survey, along with the occasional album design or print production job. Nettercap is currently the parent entity for NetterTech during pre-LLC formation.
